Mandatory Agency Relationship Disclosure
This project was a complete multilingual website redesign and implementation delivered through a UK agency. I completed the redesign collaboratively alongside Usman Jatoi as part of the agency delivery team. Dar Al Arkan was not my direct client.
Neither Hussain Jatoi nor Usman Jatoi delivered this project alone. The complete redesign was executed collaboratively within the UK agency delivery structure.
The Project Context
Dar Al Arkan is a prominent Saudi real-estate investment company based in Saudi Arabia. The project was a complete website redesign covering the wider institutional real-estate web presence for both English and Arabic audiences.
Rather than isolated page adjustments or partial website support, the redesign encompassed the complete website experience across:
Executing this complete redesign required unifying visual aesthetics with multilingual typography, responsive adaptation across device breakpoints, historical content restoration, staging-to-production migration, and rigorous quality assurance.

My Role
My work focused on the complete website redesign and implementation side of the project, working alongside Usman Jatoi within the UK agency delivery team. Together, we redesigned and structured the wider digital experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile, establishing mirrored English and Arabic RTL templates, restoring critical content archives, and taking the complete site from staging through to a stable production launch.
To maintain strict factual integrity: this case study documents a collaborative agency redesign and implementation project. It does not describe Dar Al Arkan as a direct client, nor does it present Hussain Jatoi as the sole designer or sole developer. No unsupported metrics or percentage claims are made.
Working Alongside Usman Jatoi
The complete website redesign was delivered collaboratively. I worked alongside Usman Jatoi throughout the project lifecycle, collaborating on visual design, bilingual Arabic RTL and English interface architectures, responsive adaptation across devices, navigation systems, content restoration, and production delivery.
Lead Partner / Collaborator: Usman JatoiWhat Had to Be Worked Through
Executing a complete redesign on an active enterprise property platform required working through six recurring technical and structural themes across the project lifecycle:
Multilingual consistency
English and Arabic versions needed consistent navigation, layout behaviour, and content presentation.
RTL behaviour
Arabic layouts required additional review for spacing, padding, scrolling, and responsive behaviour.
Content restoration
Some press and project content was missing and had to be checked against archived versions.
Responsive behaviour
Several components behaved differently across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Production references
Some staging references remained after migration and required production cleanup.
Interface QA
Links, icons, navigation, accordions, CTAs, and interactive elements needed detailed review.
Moving From Staging to a Stable Production Experience
A critical phase of the complete redesign was moving the redesigned experience from staging into a stable production environment. Several references and redirects still pointed toward staging during the review period, which affected parts of the production experience.
These issues were investigated and corrected by the wider project team while the redesigned page templates and responsive layouts were deployed. Ensuring clean production URLs prevented user friction and preserved routing integrity across corporate, investor, and property assets.
Designing Across English and Arabic
Redesigning an enterprise real-estate portal for both English and Arabic audiences introduces specific typographic and compositional demands. Left-to-right (LTR) and right-to-left (RTL) layouts behave differently:
- Spacing, margins, and padding cannot simply be mirrored automatically by software.
- Navigation menus, breadcrumb trails, and iconography require manual verification across screen widths.
- Arabic typography requires careful line-height and letter-spacing considerations to preserve institutional elegance.
- The redesign required manual review across device sizes to ensure consistent page behaviour between languages.
Restoring Missing Project and Press Content
During the redesign review, some project and press pages were missing content that had appeared on earlier versions of the website. Archived versions were used as a reference so those pages could be compared and the missing sections identified.
This comparative audit allowed the delivery team to restore property specifications, corporate announcements, and media records that were unintentionally dropped during prior staging updates.
